Art Glass By Design is owned by Tamasine Pritchard and is based Frome, a bustling market town which embraces a flourishing arts and crafts community, in the beautiful surroundings of her home county Somerset.

Tamasine has been working with stained glass since studying music at Northampton University in the 1990's. She joined a small studio in Northampton, working for free, and was guided through the basic design and construction of a simple leaded panel during the spare time of the artist.
Since then she has been entirely self taught, with out the constraints of a formal education. Her love for the miracle of art glass and its many vibrant textures and colours turned a hobby into an obsession. With the aid of a few good books, a good forum at stained glass news and many cuts and tears, Tamasine now has an extensive portfolio of decorative and architectural stained glass art.

15 years experience of design and fabricating of leaded and copper foil stained glass, enables Tamasine to provide quality bespoke originals both to her clients and  her private collection.

Styles range from traditional Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, through to cutting edge original modern concepts bringing affordable and practical art into the home, work and play environments.
