Panels
Having lived in a small 300 year old cottage light was of a premium. The space could not afford to loose the precious small amount of light coming through the small windows.
Glass is a celebration of light and colour so to appreciate the art Tamasine created the light box in which a piece of commissioned art glass could be framed and mounted on a wall. These can be plugged into a simple wall socket, or chased into the mains, allowing you to turn them on and off as required creating a vibrant piece of living art in the day and serving as a mood enhancer in the evenings, Perfect for those grey winter days.

Green Man
Inspired by a love of nature and all that is green around this beautiful
county of Somerset the Green man came to life. The Green man was
developed after seeing several other green men images. Elements from
each design give inspiration to the art work and a final design is
created.
Meraylah Allwood is an inspirational artist to Tamasine and her green
man had a great influence on this design.
The roses on the green man have been made after the assembly of the
piece. They have been soldered at angels and then soldered to the piece
creating a novel 3D effect that brings the piece out of the picture.

The art work is not original to this artist. It was chosen as a wedding
gift and the colour of the hair represents the hair of the couple
getting married. This panel is mounted in a wooden frame and suspended
from chains in a window. The intricate cuts of the deep curls of
the hair show case the artists skills.

Lamps
The beauty of glass truly comes to light when opalescent glasses are used with
artificial light. The Tiffany lamp shade style is universally coveted, yet due
to cheap imports the hand crafted bespoke pieces are not so common in comparison.
However as shown lamps are still commissioned and a matching lamp to any room
or existing panel is well worth the extra effort and expense.
These 2 lamps belong to the art nouveau bedroom suite and the lotus geisha lounge
suite. Notice how the lamp projects its colour onto the wall bringing yet another
dimension of light, shape and colour to the environments atmosphere.
This
lamp is about the pure beauty of the glass alone with out the added
complication of design. The colours create a warm atmosphere while
showing of the movement and flow created by hand blown glass, truly
beautiful in its simplicity. A matching pair where commissioned for
bedside lamps in London.
This brass lamp was found in a reclamation yard. After a good
polish the original wiring was stripped and refitted and a tiffany
lamp design chosen and adapted and made to replace the missing glass
windows.
