Based in her studio in a converted coach house situated in the peaceful surroundings of  a private mews and grounds, Tamasine is able to invite clients to her studio to consult on design and colours.

For private residential commissions Tamasine offers a home visit where the ambiance of the home, and personality of the client influences the design. It is important for the artist to capture the personality and surroundings of a client. This attention to personal details enables her to truly produce unique bespoke pieces that reflect both the clients and artists personalities.

Invite her into your home and let the creativity begin. Samples of colours pictures and designs will be looked at, the space measured and taken away. Samples of glass  can be looked at in the studio and brought to location to see how they work with the designs and the space taking into account the light available.

A preliminary design will be then drawn up and the client is again invited to see and alter the drawing as many times as it takes to get it right. With her experience of working with colour and light a suggestions will be made to help with concept budget and time constraints.

Pricing

Stained glass is a expensive undertaking. Glass products can account for up to a third or more of the total price. It is a time honoured and labour intensive art. However if budget is a factor then alternatives in products and design can be chosen with out compromising to greatly on the desires of the client.

Fitting

Wooden frames and window surrounding can be supplied at an additional cost, which wuill be factored into the final costing. Specialist fittings such as metal and stone work require alternative specialists however these professionals can be recommended as required.
